L-Trap flying beetle trap

Purpose
Flying beetle trap is a unique product for monitoring the absence
of a number of flying beetle species. The trap is effective on:
Anobium punctatum – house knocker
Anthrenus museorum – museum mire
Anthrenus verbasci – mullein mushroom
Attagenus smirnovi – Smirnov’s shubak
Lasioderma serricorne – cigar marmot
Sitophilus oryzae – rice weevil
Stegobium paniceum – the breadfruit host and others.
How to use
The unlocked trap should be set up in a place where it will remain under the cyclic influence of sunlight. In areas without sunlight, the L-trap should
be staged together with the SOLARIS illuminator.
Working principle
The trap is equipped with two phosphorescent plates. When energized with light, the plates emit green light with a wavelength of 520 Nm. Green light of this wavelength attracts especially intense insects with nocturnal activity characteristics. Nocturnal insects navigate the use of light sources available to them using, for example, phosphorescent light emitted by fungi, reflected light emitted by the moon, etc. Insects attracted to the light from the tiles, stick to the adhesive surfaces.Fully charged tiles create points of light visible for up to 12 h after they are fully exposed.
